Admission Policies
These rules help everyone enjoy a safe and pleasant facility. Please read them before your visit.

Admission policy
Before You Visit
Please also follow the rules and advice on display for each activity at the centre.
Admission & Entry
- Admission is subject to the centre’s admission fees, either membership or pay as you go charges.
- Members must scan in to record attendance and to access the areas and activities within the centre.
- Admission is based on the current timetable, which is subject to change.
- All pay as you go customers must sign a Health Screening Waiver before entry.
- Anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be refused entry.
- For health and safety reasons, the maximum stay in the facility is 2 hours. If you stay longer, you will be asked to leave.
Age Requirements
- Sauna and steam room: over 18s only.
- Adult gym and swim sessions: over 18s only.
- Student gym and swim sessions: over 16s only.
- Teen gym and swim sessions: ages 13–15 only.
Health & Safety
- All gym users must complete a gym induction before working out in the gym.
- If you know or are concerned that you have a medical condition that might affect your ability to exercise safely, get advice from a relevant medical professional and follow it before using the facility.
- Main pool bather load: 72 people. Learner pool bather load: 22 people.
Lessons, Parties & Camps
- During pool parties and swimming lessons, a parent is asked to stay on site.
- Staff must be told when booking if anyone in the party has special needs or medical requirements.
- When booking camps, staff must be told if any child has special needs or medical requirements.
- Please let staff know if your child cannot attend a lesson or camp.
Children’s admission
Supervising Children
- Children under 10 must be accompanied in the water by a responsible adult aged 18 or over, at a maximum of 2 children per adult.
- Supervising from the viewing gallery or pool deck is not accepted as adequate supervision.
- Children must be supervised by an adult at all times while in the centre.
Anyone who does not follow the rules set out by RLC management may be asked to leave. These rules are in place so that everyone can continue to enjoy a safe and pleasant facility.
